EXMGE Analytics
Instagram insights for EXMGE partners
EXMGE Analytics is the Instagram reporting integration being prepared for the EXMGE partner portal. It brings authorised professional accounts, account trends and top Reels into the partner workspace.
In preparation. Instagram connections are not yet generally available.
Your accounts, one overview
Partners will be able to select one, several or all of their authorised Instagram accounts. Account selection, combined results and top Reels will be available within Analytics. Authorised EXMGE staff will be able to view individual accounts and combined results within the agreed service purpose.
The overview is designed to show views and interactions over a selected period, together with a ranking of Reels. Missing or incomplete metrics remain identified as such. Summed views are not unique people; reach is not added across accounts or days. Reel rankings use lifetime metrics for Reels published during the selected period.
A connection you control
The integration is intended for Instagram Business and Creator accounts. Connecting an account requires its authorised manager to sign in directly with Instagram and approve the displayed permissions. EXMGE does not ask for your Instagram password.
This integration requests instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_manage_insights to read the connected profile, its media and available insights. It does not request permission to publish content or manage private messages or comments. Other EXMGE integrations have separate purposes and authorisations.
Instagram data and privacy
EXMGE GmbH & Co. KG, Potsdamer Allee 127, 14532 Stahnsdorf, Germany, provides this service. Privacy contact: privacy@exmge.com. The prepared data flow covers Instagram account and user identifiers, username, account type, post and Reel identifiers, captions, publication times, Instagram links, available metrics, retrieval times and encrypted access tokens. It does not download videos or create a follower directory.
The purpose is to provide the account reporting requested by the partner. Access is limited to the partner and explicitly authorised people. Combined reporting across partners requires a documented service purpose and permission. Meta also processes the connection under its own privacy policy. The general EXMGE privacy notice covers rights, contact options and infrastructure.
The proposed pilot retains account measurements and media metadata within a rolling 90-day window. Tokens are needed while the connection remains active. The final retention rules and the handling of deleted data in backups must be verified before real accounts are enabled. These proposed limits do not mean that Meta provides complete historical data.
Disconnect or request deletion
You can already request information or deletion by emailing privacy@exmge.com. Please identify EXMGE Analytics, your Instagram username and the email address used for your EXMGE account. Do not send passwords or access tokens. We may ask for proportionate proof that the request concerns your account.
When the integration becomes available, the connection menu in Analytics will offer disconnection and deletion of the stored Instagram connection, token, media metadata and measurements. You can also remove the app’s access through Instagram’s Apps and websites settings. Removing access at Instagram and requesting deletion at EXMGE are both supported routes.
Deletion concerns the copies held by EXMGE Analytics, not your Instagram account, posts or Reels. A deletion status will distinguish removal from active storage from outstanding protected backup copies. Deleted data must not return to ordinary use after a restore. Necessary contractual records are handled separately under the general privacy notice.
